On the beach road at Almargem, Villa Acalmar is ideally situated for those that want peace and quiet, yet it is within easy reach of all the facilities in this popular area.
The main building consists of the four bedroom Villa upstairs and a one bedroom self contained apartment downstairs. A further two bedroom wooden Lodge is located at the far end of the garden.
The villa consists of four bedrooms with 2 being en-suite and the other two sharing the family bathroom. A further WC is also provided. The large kitchen and combined lounge / dining room make the villa ideal for up to 10 people.
The kitchen is equipped with dish washer, microwave, washing machine, oven and four ring hob as well as all the other essentials you would expect. The kitchen also has a large dining table and chairs.
The lounge has two 3 seater sofa's, a two seater and a single. Satellite TV is provided giving access to UK TV so you can keep up with the soaps if you must. The Master bedroom is en-suite with a double bed and comfortable double sofabed. The second bedroom has a double bed and is also en-suite. The two remaining rooms are both twins and share the large family bathroom.
The most amazing feature of the main villa is the extensive 40m2 wooden terrace that has been added to the rear of the villa at first floor level overlooking the garden and pool area. This terrace provides a fantastic outdoor living space and also gives access to the garden via the gentle stairway.

The 2 bedroom Lodge is located slightly away from the main building but still within the grounds of Villa Acalmar. It’s wooden construction makes it a unique accommodation with fantastic texture and aura. The Lodge has it’s own terrace and BBQ. Inside is a large and spacious combined lounge/kitchen/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, UK Satellite TV is provided as is Air Conditioning. All this combines to make the Lodge self contained within Villa Acalmar. Sleeps 4/6. |
The single bedroom apartment consists of a combined kitchen/dining/sitting room and spacious bathroom. The large bedroom with twin beds combined with the sofabed makes this a very comfortable apartment for up to four people to share. The apartment has direct access to the pool and garden area. Satellite TV is again provided and the kitchen is again equipped to a very high standard. Again Air Conditioned.
Outside the pool is a large 4m by 10.5m and outdoor shower. The large grassed areas around the pool are ideal for lying out and topping up your tan. Sun loungers, garden furniture and two BBQ's are provided to ensure that you have everything you need to enjoy your holiday. A large car park allows you to keep your hire car off road.
If you wish you can walk down the sand track beneath the umbrella pines to the beautiful beach that is less than one kilometre away. Here you will find a wonderful beach that is not usually too crowded as it lies between the resort beaches of Vale Do Lobo and Quarteira. These beaches are only a short walk away and are therefore available should you wish to use them. Two snack bars are located at the neighbouring beaches just a short walk along the beach.
A short walk away is one of the most famous BBQ chicken restaurants in the Algarve. Here you can enjoy fabulous BBQ chicken, Salmon, Sardines etc. A must visit as it offers great value for money as well as a great atmosphere. A new restaurant has been added opposite the BBQ restaurant that offers a more sophisticated menu. A Swiss restaurant and a Portuguese snack bar are also within walking distance.
The Villa is ideally located just 20 minutes from the Airport at Faro. Getting there could not be easier with flights from all major UK Airports and most regional airports.
